The 2DCC-MIP program STEP FORWARD – the Scientific Travel Extension Program For Outreach Representatives Working to Advance Research Diversity helps 2DCC-MIP faculty with travel plans to identify nearby primarily undergraduate and minority serving institutions with groups that may be interested in their research, help to make contact with those institutes to arrange a visit, and provide funding to cover extra travel expenses.
