Preventing Slips, Trips and Falls with New Pig

Guest Speaker: Jennifer Weyant, Technical Services Manager, New Pig

Abstract: New Pig has been providing cleaner, safer, better ways to work since 1985, when they invented the world’s first contained absorbent — the PIG Original Sock. As the leading international brand for managing leaks, drips, spills and other liquid messes, PIG products are used at facilities in more than 100 countries on all seven continents. The company’s dedication to innovative solutions, environmental responsibility and keeping customers happy drives growth into new opportunities and emerging markets like the slips, trips and falls industry. New Pig was founded — and is still headquartered — in Tipton, Pennsylvania.

Bio: Jennifer Weyant is New Pig’s Technical Services Manager and a member of the Technical Training team. She joined the company in 2008 as a Technical Services Representative and began managing the technical services department soon after. Jenn has a passion for technical education, training and development of employees and New Pig business partners.  She strives to keep the environment and individuals safe through promoting best management practices in both chemical hygiene and occupational health and safety. Jennifer earned her BS degree in Chemistry from Saint Francis University in 2007. She resides with her husband and children in central Pennsylvania.
