Be a Sponsor: Promote your company and engage with 200+ Penn State attendees and 100+ external visitors at Materials Day 2023. This event is Penn State Materials Research Institute's (MRI) largest outreach event of the year and sponsorships have proven to be a valuable way to promote your organization while making new connections in the materials community at Penn State, and with government and industry attendees.

Sponsorship Types

  1. Exclusive Major Event Sponsor $5,000 (one available)
    Your name and logo will be featured on all Materials Day emails and the Materials Day website. In addition to verbal recognition during the Keynotes, and at the reception, your logo will be prominently displayed outside each location at this event. Five complimentary sponsor registrations are included.
  2. Materials Day Reception: $3,000 (one available)
    At the reception, your company will receive a verbal recognition and your logo will be prominently displayed at beverage and food locations. Three complimentary sponsor registrations are included.
  3. NO LONGER AVAILABLE
    Lunch: $2,000     (not available; Day 1 or Day 2)
    A light lunch will be served in-between the Poster Sessions on Oct. 26. On Oct. 27, lunch will be served in the Millennium Science Complex in the 3rd Floor Commons area. A ticket printed with your company logo (required for lunch attendance) will acknowledge your company’s sponsorship, and recognition will also be noted on the Materials Day website. Two complimentary sponsor registrations are included.
  4. Breakout Sessions: $1,000 (three available)
    Your sponsorship will be acknowledged through a prominently displayed poster and verbal recognition at the session. These are 90-minute-long sessions with a mix of expert presentation and attendee participation.  One complimentary sponsor registration is included. Breakout topics include interdisciplinary institute's current research collaborations.

    Industry Tabletops: $500     (not available)
    Showcase your tabletop booth during the two poster sessions on October 26 at the HUB-Robeson Center. This can serve as a launch point for further collaboration between Penn State and your company. Exhibit your company with signs, a banner, or poster, along with your branded marketing materials and handouts. A six-foot table will be provided. One complementary sponsor registration is included.
