
Directed Energy Day 2026
Directed Energy Day is CEDE’s annual showcase of our state-of-the-art research work in HPM, HEL, AI, material science, and other areas within the DE space. This event is a great networking opportunity where our industry partners and government colleagues will meet and interact with CEDE faculty, researchers, and students to discuss new projects, teaming opportunities, workforce development, and student recruiting. PARKING
There are several parking options in downtown close to the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub building. The Fraser St garage and Beaver Ave garages are good options within short walking distance of the Innovation Hub. More information abut downtown parking can be found here. On campus, the West Deck is within walking distance of downtown and west campus and has ample visitor spaces. More parking information for on-campus parking can be found here.

State College has numerous hotels that are all within an easy drive to campus. Visitors may wish to stay closer to the University and being to walk to campus and downtown. Below are a few recommended hotels within walking distance.
