How do I send my poster in for printing?

You can not send your poster to be printed until you receive notification that your abstract has been accepted.  In this notification of acceptance, you will be provided with complete details of how to send your poster in for free printing. Posters will be printed for free through September 19th.

Posters Requirements:

  • 36" x 48" (portrait), or
  • 48" x 36" (landscape)
  • Powerpoint (.ppt, .pptx) and/or Adobe Acrobat PDF are preferred (with ALL fonts embedded, as to avoid missing fonts and other cross platform issues)

Free Poster Printing Instructions

Send to the MRI IT Helpdesk (mri-helpdesk@psu.edu) Note: please send from Penn State email address ONLY (ex. xyz123@psu.edu) with the following as the Subject Line:

  • SUBJECT LINE: Research Penn State FREE Poster Printing (Poster ID #000)

If you do not have the correct subject line, you will be asked to resend with the correct information in the subject line.

Files too large to be sent via email can be sent to the MRI IT Helpdesk via a public Box.com link. 

Final posters are due to the MRI IT Helpdesk no later than Monday, September 19th end of the day in order to ensure that they can be printed for the event.  Any request for reprints submitted after 12:01 a.m. September 20th will be charged $28.00 to your budget and fund. 

POSTERS SUBMITTED AFTER 12:01 A.M. SEPTEMBER 20TH WILL NOT BE PRINTED.
Alternative printing options: Kinko's, Departmental Print Services, FedEx.

Instructions for Poster Setup on Thursday, October 6th

Those who use MRI for poster printing will not have to set up their poster for the Poster Sessions.  The event coordinators will display your poster in the HUB for you.

Those who are not using MRI for poster printing will be responsible for hanging their poster in the HUB between 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  Velcro will be provided.

You are expected to be at your poster from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00p .m. Please collect your poster after the Poster Session is complete.
