Bio:
Cyndi studied graphic design, communication, and advertising at Penn State. She began working in graphics and design even earlier, in 1977. Since 1981, she has used computers in the design process. Before coming to work for the Materials Research Institute, she spent 9 years in the College of Agricultural Sciences and 13 years in mass media focusing primarily on TV graphics.

A true technophile, Cyndi enjoys anything that combines computers and graphics. She also enjoys giving presentations and teaching many related subjects such as design, graphics, and the applications used therein (including but not limited to Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash).

Cyndi's past-times include hiking, biking, camping, gaming (board games to video games), sewing, painting, home repair, and taking care of assorted pets.
