MRI Safety
Here you will find information and items pertaining to safety within MRI; specifically the MRI and MRL Buildings. Items will be added over time as needed.
Safety Committees:
Both the MRI and MRL Buildings have safety committees (though the MRI Building safety committee is on hiatus until the occupancy becomes more static) mainly comprised of representatives (faculty, staff and or students) from each area of the building, be it research group, center or laboratory. Meetings of the safety committees are held on a regular basis (usually once per month), but are called at the discretion of the committee chairs (Dan Lehman for the MRI Building and Gaylord Shawver for the MRL Building). Any occupant of the MRI or MRL Buildings is welcome to attend the meetings, simply contact the chair to learn of the dates and times. Minutes of the meetings will be posted here for review - please let the chairs know of any corrections that should be made.
