Rates
The academic rate for Solar Simulator use is $10/hour. Bulb warm-up time is excluded from the charge.
User Policies, Procedures, and Training
- New users should contact Greg Barber for training.
- Current users who are not MRL Building occupants can contact Maria Klimkiewicz to turn on the bulb so it will be warmed up at the beginning of user sessions. Users should be cognizant of the reservation schedule and let the bulb on if another user is scheduled after them.
- A lab key for Room 173 and after-hours access to the MRL Building are granted only after successful complete of the MRI safety training requirements posted online at http://www.mri.psu.edu/Intranet/Safety/NewStu.asp
