Penn State nano education links and opportunities:
- GoNano - Penn State's gateway to nanoscale science.
- Center for Nanotechnology Education and Utilization (CNEU) - Bringing nanotechnology to Education and Industry! The CNEU provides many opportunities for education and activities in nanotechnology.
- National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN) - an integrated networked partnership of user facilities, supported by the National Science Foundation.
NNIN Research Experience for Teachers (RET) - The Penn State site hosts 3 Pennsylvania high school teachers annually, who experience research first hand, collaborate with Penn State research faculty, and develop lesson plans and activities that they can use in their home classrooms.
NNIN Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) - The Penn State site hosts 5 undergraduate students annually, who conduct research within the Nanofab Lab under the guidance of faculty in the Colleges. To further enhance the students' skills, they travel to an annual Convocation to present their research.
