Accomplishments/Education:

Bob has a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Drexel University (1984) and an M.S. in Organizational Management from Lasalle University (1989). He joined Penn State in 1992 when he became Associate Director of the Particulate Materials Center. In 1998 he became Managing Director for the Materials Research Laboratory and maintained this position after the merger of MRL with the Materials Research Institute. Bob also specializes in organizing and hosting training and market related activities for the powder injection molding industry

Background/Bio:

Bob resides in State College with his wife, Heidi and three children Seth, Mitchell and Brennan. He is an avid runner putting in between 15 and 25 miles a week and also enjoys mountain biking, playing soccer and coaching his sons' soccer teams, computer technology and gaming, reading and spending time with his family and friends.

Responsibilities:

He has a variety of responsibilities within the Materials Research Institute administration including: contracting, budgeting and accounting, human resources, and technology implementation. He also markets MRI activities, as well as provides expertise in meeting planning and strategic inititatives..
