Research Synopsis:

Nanofabrication and characterization of electronic and optical materials and devices; Areas of interest include: On-chip assembly of nanowire-based devices; Fabrication and measurement of electronic and vibronic properties of molecular junction devices; Integration of semiconductor and metal nanowires for energy conversion and infrared detection; Genetically-engineered metallodielectric and all-dielectric nanostructures for optical filters, coatings, and refractive-index engineered thin films.
