Accomplishments/Education:

Bill is holds a BS degree in Ceramic Science and Engineering from the Penn State University. He began his career at the Materials Research Lab as a work study student in 1982 and is currently an associate research engineer. Bill has co-authored over 20 technical papers and holds 3 patents. He is a member of the American Ceramic Society and the American Vacuum Society

 

Background/Bio:

Bill lives in State College with is wife Mary and daughters Katie and Elizabeth. He enjoys fly fishing as well as hunting. Bill is a member of Trout Unlimited and is the president of the Nittany Valley Bird Dog Club. He enjoys sports and helps coach his daughter’s ball team.

 

Responsibilities:

Bill is currently the lab manager for the Keck facility thin film lab and clean room. He is skilled in vacuum science, thin film processing and characterization as well as gas handling.
