Research Synopsis:
Professor Dickey's research interests are in the area of interface materials science. Her research group studies materials systems in which the macroscopic physical properties (mechanical, dielectric, thermal, etc.) are governed by the grain boundaries or internal interfaces in the material. Her research involves using an array of analytical techniques, in particular electron microscopy and spectroscopy, to understand the structure and chemistry of internal interfaces.
