Research Synopsis:

Crystallization of diamond and related phases from the gas phase; and laser approaches; Synthesis of diamond and hard materials by high pressure/high temperature techniques; Predicting of hard materials; Nanostructured composites and self-assembling networks; Electron field emission; Chemical and structural characterization of materials; X-ray diffraction by disordered structures; X-ray spectroscopy and electronic band structure of solids; Thermal diffuse scattering of X-rays by crystals.
