The 30th Annual Symposium on Applied Surface Analysis  will be held on-site at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel in State College, Pennsylvania. The conference center is located in the heart of central Pennsylvania, minutes from downtown State College, the main campus of The Pennsylvania State University, and the State College/University Park Airport. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service from the State College/University Park Airport. Please request this service when reserving your room. ROOM BLOCK
For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel for the evenings of Tuesday, June 10th – Friday June 16th. Please note that you are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. When making your reservation, please mention group code MAT0610 in order to receive the group rate. A guarantee of one night's deposit is required to secure your accommodations. The block of rooms, available on a first-come, first-serve basis, will be held until Sunday, May 11, 2008. After that date, all unreserved rooms will be released for general sale, and accommodations will be available based on a space and rate availability, to be determined by the hotel.

ROOM RATES
The standard room rate is as follows: $95.00 per night single occupancy.  Room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (this is currently 8.5%, but is subject to change without notice). Please note that the hotel requires a credit card imprint upon check in. Those paying by cash will be required to pay for their room upon check in; an additional $20.00 incidental deposit is required for phone activation.

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 12:00 noon.

PARKING
Parking at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel is on the premises. There is no fee for parking.
