Meetings

The Center for Dielectric Studies (CDS) holds semi-annual technical review meetings as one method of technology transfer to member companies. Special workshops on specific topics are also held approximately every 18 months.

Attendance at Center for Dielectric Studies meetings is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending a meeting and/or learning more about CDS, please contact one of the directors.

  • Hotel Reservations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Westport Plaza Tower, for May 20-23, 2008; reservations can be made on line at http://www.starwoodmeeting.com/Book/NSFcenter
  • Airport to hotel transportation:
    • Shuttle: The St. Louis Sheraton Westport Plaza Tower Hotel has a complimentary shuttle service to and from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Go to the Main Terminal, exit MT18. Shuttle leaves every half hour, at 5 and 35 minutes after the hour.
    • Taxi: Taxis are also available at the airport; it is about a 10 minute ride to the hotel, and the fare is estimate to be about $21.00.
